{"id":705,"date":"2025-07-16T18:37:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T18:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/705\/"},"modified":"2025-07-16T18:37:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T18:37:09","slug":"limp-bizkits-fred-durst-has-the-sexiest-voice-of-any-uk-festival-performer-this-year-according-to-new-scientific-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/705\/","title":{"rendered":"Limp Bizkit\u2019s Fred Durst has the sexiest voice of any UK festival performer this year, according to new scientific study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new study claims that <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/artist\/limp-bizkit\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/artist\/limp-bizkit\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"\/artist\/limp-bizkit\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Limp Bizkit<\/a> frontman Fred Durst has the most attractive voice of anyone set to perform at a UK festival this year.<\/p>\n<p>The self-described \u201cmusic experts\u201d at ticket website <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/seatpick.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/seatpick.com\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">SeatPick<\/a> have made the eyebrow-raising claim, putting the man who rapped Rollin\u2019 at the top of <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1IYrZiwdLaR2W9pU-dPFrlTzv_FWJOPzZP2LkI8P_d1Q\/edit?gid=0#gid=0\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1IYrZiwdLaR2W9pU-dPFrlTzv_FWJOPzZP2LkI8P_d1Q\/edit?gid=0#gid=0\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">their table of sexiest voices<\/a>, which also features such pop superstars as Drake, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, among others.<\/p>\n<p>SeatPick\u2019s anointing of Durst as essentially the hottest voice in the world right now comes off the back of <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC3293852\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC3293852\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">a 2012 study<\/a>, which found that the most attractive pitch for a male voice is 96Hz. For female vocalists, the most attractive pitch is 223.25Hz.<\/p>\n<p>You may like<\/p>\n<p>SeatPick claim that Durst\u2019s voice has a mean pitch of 96.8Hz, placing him less than one percent away from the apparent male ideal. They awarded second place to English singer Lola Young, who, along with Limp Bizkit, is set to perform at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August. Her mean pitch is reportedly 223.25Hz, 1.84 percent away from the peak stat for an attractive female voice.<\/p>\n<p>A host of pop royalty appear further down SeatPick\u2019s list. Drake is at number four with a supposed 93.8Hz mean pitch, and Olivia Rodrigo lands at number five with 216.36Hz. Roan and Carpenter, two of the biggest musical stars in the world right now, don\u2019t even crack the top 10, with Roan scoring 211.7Hz to reach number 12 and Carpenter\u2019s 190.51Hz putting her at 29.<\/p>\n<p>Limp Bizkit and their purportedly angelic-voiced singer recently wrapped up a North American tour supporting <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/artist\/metallica\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/artist\/metallica\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"\/artist\/metallica\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Metallica<\/a> and have festival dates in place for North America, Asia and Europe.
