Colton Herta, who Power replaced in the No. 26 is running F2 in hopes of securing one of the Cadillac F1 seats next year an ambition that Palou no longer shares.<\/p>\n
“He likes it better here,” Power said.<\/p>\n
Power’s win with Andretti is coming, they just have to have a race weekend with the little mistakes and misfortunes that have plagued the No. 26 team.<\/p>\n
“For us just to execute a weekend without a mistake would be very nice,” Power said post-qualifying.<\/p>\n

During a Friday press conference Power lamented about Palou being able to put it all together so often over the past few years, leading to the young Spaniard’s success in race wins and championships, but as someone was who once the ‘guy to beat’ Power knows that it doesn’t last for ever.<\/p>\n
“All manageable things,” Power said about the small moments that have ruined a fair share of his race weekends. “I wouldn’t call it bad luck. The car is really good, the team is really good. You just have to put it together.<\/p>\n
“I do think about Palou at these times and think about how often he puts it together. To be in this place must feel so good where it’s all flowing for you. But his time will come”<\/p>\n

Power ended his answer with what he himself called an ‘evil laugh’.<\/p>\n
At the end of Palou’s media availability Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, told the driver about Power’s laugh the day before, asking if see’s his streak of success coming to an end.<\/p>\n
“We have the processes, but you know the time will come. I agree with him. I hope he’s wrong and I hope I’m wrong. That’s life. Yeah, you go through a good stretch. I’ve been saying it the last two years. Hopefully it goes another four or five the same way.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, I agree with him. I’m just in a moment where I feel super confident with myself, the team is giving me the fastest cars, and I feel very confident with the car, the team, with everything. I’m on that sweet spot. Hopefully it’s long and it’s tall. It could just go wrong tomorrow.”<\/p>\n
