A Woodstock man awaiting trial for dangerous driving causing death in a 2024 fatal collision in Brampton has been charged with stunt driving in Mississauga.<\/p>\n

Peel Police observed the accused driving a vehicle at a \u201chigh rate of speed\u201d near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentia Road at 1 a.m. on May 23. A traffic stop was conducted and 20-year-old Mitchel Hunter with stunt driving, speeding (102 km\/h in a 60 km\/h zone), failing to surrender driver\u2019s licence and drive vehicle contrary to emissions regulations.<\/p>\n

Hunter received an immediate 30-day driver\u2019s licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.<\/p>\n

Hunter was arrested in late 2024 following a fatal collision on Nov. 24, 2024, near Steeles Avenue and Finch Avenue in Brampton. He was charged with dangerous driving causing death\u00a0and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.<\/p>\n

He is still awaiting trial for that matter.<\/p>\n
