Kerry Schmidt<\/a> said officers responded to a single-vehicle rollover collision on the westbound collector lanes of Hwy. 401 heading into Port Union Rd.<\/p>\n Police said the 44-year-old driver from North York was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The passenger of the garbage truck sustained minor injuries.<\/p>\n Schmidt said the westbound express lanes were open to traffic, while the collector lanes were closed for police investigation and cleanup. The OPP expected all lanes re-open by 3 p.m.<\/p>\n Anyone witnesses of the collision are asked to call the OPP at 416-235-4981.<\/p>\n A Woodstock, Ont. man already awaiting trial for a fatal Brampton crash is facing new stunt driving charges after he was recently nabbed speeding in Mississauga.<\/p>\n In a news release issued by Peel Regional Police on Sunday, police said they spotted a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed near Winston Churchill Blvd. and Argentia Rd.
