Samsung\u2019s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 is debuting a wider form factor we\u2019ve not seen on Android in a few years<\/a> and, ahead of its launch, the device has been spotted in the wild.<\/p>\n

Posted to DCInside<\/a>, a zoomed-in shot of someone using a wider-than-average foldable with two cameras on the back is very likely our first real-world look at a working Galaxy Z Fold 8 \u2013 the device previously referred to as \u201cGalaxy Z Fold 8 Wide\u201d \u2013 which has so far only leaked in renders and dummy units<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The device appears to be within a protective case, making it look thicker when folded, but we can still see the aspect ratio and the pair of rear cameras here. It also gives us a better idea of what the new form factor looks like in terms of size, with the device fitting pretty neatly in the hand of the person holding it.<\/p>\n

But, really, that\u2019s about all we can gather from this latest leak.<\/p>\n

Samsung is expected to launch this device as the \u201cGalaxy Z Fold 8,\u201d with the standard tall-and-narrow form factor we\u2019re used to seeing being rebranded as the \u201cGalaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.\u201d<\/a> Both devices are expected to launch on July 22<\/a>.<\/p>\n
