(Photo: Patrick Brown on X) <\/p>\n<p>American billionaire Mark Cuban made good on his word and took a trip to Brampton last weekend to watch his new investment, the Honey Badgers, try and add a sixth-straight win to their 2026 season.<\/p>\n<p>Cuban made headlines last month when it was announced that the American businessman and TV personality was now part owner of Brampton\u2019s Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) team, and said he had plans to come watch the team play live at home.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insauga.com\/honey-badger-billionaire-owner-mark-cuban-says-hes-coming-to-watch-basketball-in-brampton\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">former owner of the NBA\u2019s Dallas Mavericks kept that promise on Saturday<\/a>, and was at the CAA Centre to see his new team take on the Vancouver Bandits.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s game honoured veterans and first responders, and Cuban was in the crowd spotted rubbing shoulders with Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.<\/p>\n<p>The Honey Badgers had been on a win streak since the 2026 season started on May 15, racking up five wins in a row including a 91 \u2013 72 routing of the Calgary Surge.
