Lewisburg, Pa. \u2014 Women’s tennis coach Tammy Cecchini<\/a> and the Bucknell women’s tennis team welcome two freshmen to the roster for the 2026-27 season: Jordan Lee and Isabella Massis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Jordan and Isabella both fit our team perfectly,” said head coach Tammy Cecchini<\/a>. “They both bring their own uniqueness that will make us better and stronger on the tennis court. We can’t wait to see what they will do in the next four years.”<\/p>\n

The two newcomers hail from two different countries, as Jordan originates from New Jersey and Isabella comes to the Bison from Canada.<\/p>\n

Before Bucknell: Lettered four years in tennis; one year at Holmdel High School and three years at Ridge High School\u2026played No. 1 singles for four consecutive years\u2026NJSIAA Tennis 2024 All State Third Team\u2026NJSIAA Tennis 2023 All State Second Team\u20263x Quarterfinalist in NJSIAA Tennis Individual State Tournament\u20261x Semifinalist in NJSIAA Tennis Individual State Tournament\u20263x Somerset County Finalist\u20261x Monmouth County Finalist\u20262022-2023 NJSIAA Team State Champions at Holmdel High School\u20262023-2024 NJSIAA Team State Champions at Ridge High School\u2026led 2023-24 team to a 14-2 record\u2026top-150 nationally in the class of 2026\u2026ranked among the top seven players in New Jersey in the class of 2026 \u20262023 L2 Intersectional Team Tournament Winner\u20262x L3 Doubles Champion and 2x L4 Doubles Champion\u20262020 USTA Junior Sportsmanship Award\u2026served as a captain at Ridge for 2025-26.

Before Bucknell: Lettered in tennis in high school at Ridley College in Canada\u2026led the team to a CISAA championship\u2026played for her high school varsity team since eighth grade\u2026won CISAA silver and bronze in singles competition\u2026went undefeated in regular season singles play\u2026Provincial Tournament Champion and finalist multiple times\u2026competed at U17 Fisher Outdoor National Championship\u2026OTA U18 Yonex Junior Outdoor & Indoor selection\u2026served as high school team captain.

Personal: Isabella Florence Massis\u2026born September 13, 2008 in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada\u2026daughter of Margaret and Mike Massis\u2026father played ice hockey at Mercyhurst\u2026has one sibling; Loukas.<\/p>\n
