Jennifer Lopez shut down rumors that she\u2019s dating her \u201cOffice Romance\u201d co-star Brett Goldstein in an awkward live TV moment.<\/p>\n
During Tuesday\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d show<\/a>, Savannah Guthrie asked her guests whether speculation about their offscreen chemistry is true, a question that seemingly caught Lopez by surprise.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s never a time when I\u2019m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don\u2019t try to put me with the person,\u201d the \u201cHustlers\u201d star<\/a> replied.<\/p>\n Jennifer Lopez shut down Savannah Guthrie\u2019s question about her relationship with Brett Goldstein (pictured together above) during Tuesday\u2019s episode of \u201cToday.\u201d TODAY<\/p>\n Lopez (seen above with Goldstein) denied she\u2019s dating her \u201cOffice Romance\u201d co-star. TODAY<\/p>\n Goldstein chimed in, \u201cI think if you stand near her, that\u2019s what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n Guthrie then quipped, \u201cThat\u2019s what you wish would happen,\u201d as the \u201cTed Lasso\u201d star joked, \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019ve been standing so close this whole time.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n However, Guthrie wasn\u2019t satisfied with the duo\u2019s responses to her question, telling Lopez specifically that she circled around the question.<\/p>\n \u201cOK, but I\u2019ll just say, because I\u2019m me and you know me, that was not an answer,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Guthrie (pictured above interviewing the actors) kept pushing Lopez to see if she\u2019s dating Goldstein. TODAY<\/p>\n Lopez pointed out that she\u2019s always accused of being in a relationship with her co-stars. TODAY<\/p>\n \u201cThat was not an answer? It was an answer!\u201d Lopez replied to the journalist, noting that there were previously unfounded rumors about her and Kevin Costner<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lopez added, \u201cIt happens all the time. Doesn\u2019t make it true.\u201d<\/p>\n Guthrie then pointed out that the \u201cLet\u2019s Get Loud\u201d singer deals with all the constant romance rumors because she\u2019s \u201ca hot, eligible single person.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOK, so you\u2019re not dating in real life?\u201d Guthrie asked again.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cNot dating,\u201d Lopez said as Goldstein added, \u201cCorrect.\u201d<\/p>\n Being suspected of dating her co-stars \u201chappens all the time. It\u2019s not fair!\u201d<\/p>\n Lopez and Goldstein have sparked dating rumors while promoting their new rom-com,<\/a> out Friday on Netflix.<\/p>\n In the film, Lopez plays a CEO named Jacqueline Cruz who falls in love with her new hire, Daniel Blanchflower, played by Goldstein.<\/p>\n Lopez and Goldstein (seen above at the \u201cOffice Romance\u201d LA premiere in May) have sparked dating rumors on the press tour for their rom-com.
