\n\tChris Robinson wasn\u2019t having it with the crowd\u2019s patriotic display at The Black Crowes<\/a>\u2018 concert in Florida Sunday night (May 31).<\/p>\n

\n\tAs captured in clips<\/a> from the show in Tampa, some people in the audience at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre started booing after the singer scolded them for chanting \u201cU.S.A.! U.S.A!\u201d The chant reportedly emerged after the band\u2019s stage visuals showed their mascot dressed as Uncle Sam.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSome of us have real faith,\u201d Robinson responded to the angry concertgoers. \u201cAnd for those of you f\u2013king booing us, some of us are not afraid. And we most assuredly are not f\u2013king ignorant, so thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTMZ<\/a> reports that the rocker also said of the chants, \u201cThanks for the geography lesson \u2026 I don\u2019t know what you have to be so proud of right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe exchange resulted in numerous crowd members walking out on the show, according to a video shared by the outlet on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tRobinson isn\u2019t known for being the most politically outspoken musician, aside from the time he made a passing remark<\/a> in 2017 griping about Donald Trump being president. But the crowd in Florida \u2014 a historically red state \u2014 learned the hard way that he\u2019s not necessarily happy with the state of the country, either. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Black Crowes will continue their tour Tuesday (June 2) with a performance in St. Augustine, Fla., followed by shows in Augusta, Ga., and Charlotte, N.C. The band\u2019s new album, A Pound of Feathers, dropped in March, shortly after receiving a 2026 nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. (The band was ultimately not chosen for induction.)<\/p>\n
