<\/p>\nActors Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri have come together for the first time in Maa Behen, a film that blends comedy and suspense. Ahead of the Netflix release, Triptii spoke about her experience of working alongside Madhuri and what she observed about the veteran actress on and off the set.<\/p>\n

Triptii said that growing up, she had always admired Madhuri from a distance, but the experience of actually working with her revealed a different and deeply personal side of the actress. \u201cI think there\u2019s so much that I\u2019ve learned from ma\u2019am because growing up, you\u2019ve always seen her from a distance and admired her. But when you get to know her as a person, there\u2019s a completely different, very beautiful side to her,\u201d said Triptii.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to be like her. Even if I become a big star of her stature, these are the qualities I would want in me – the humbleness, the kindness, the giving nature. No insecurities, nothing. She is like a zen person, on set and off set,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on what accounts for Madhuri\u2019s enduring popularity across generations, Triptii said, \u201cWhatever you give out always comes back tenfolds. I\u2019m a true believer of that. And I think this is a pure example of that in front of us. This is why she\u2019s so loved by all generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
When asked how she would want to be remembered after decades in the industry, Madhuri said, \u201cI want people to remember me by how I made them feel.\u201d<\/p>\n
Madhuri also shared her perspective on what sustains a relationship. \u201cI think mutual respect and taking pride in each other\u2019s wins and being there for each other in your losses. There should be respect, love and everything should be there, but I think you should always be together in your goals and make sure that your kids and family are always taken care of, and you\u2019re there for each other as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Triptii echoed a similar sentiment, saying, \u201cI think friendship is very, very essential because love as a feeling can fade after a point, but friendship and respect and just being there for each other in difficult times is important. Life is not always in one line; there are ups and downs. You can\u2019t just be there for the good times. You have to be equally there for the bad times.\u201d She further added, \u201cConsistency is very important. Not taking each other for granted is something we should always keep in mind.\u201d<\/p>\n
Madhuri reflected on how the industry has changed over the years, recalling when actors routinely worked double shifts across multiple films. \u201cI think it\u2019s much more organised now. When we do a project, it has a fixed number of days and you know where you\u2019re going to shoot and what you\u2019re going to do. Then you can plan your own life as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe used to do double shifts for two different films. We\u2019d shoot from 9 to 6 for one person and then continue for another film till late at night. Today, we shoot for just one movie and are completely present for it. That\u2019s all we\u2019re doing for the next 30 or 40 days,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Maa Behen, directed by Suresh Triveni, begins streaming on Netflix from June 5, 2026.<\/p>\n
