Police have charged a Brampton man with second-degree murder after a body was found in Orillia.<\/p>\n
The OPP says officers were called to Scouts Valley Trail around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday where one person was found dead. Police have not disclosed any details about the victim, but called the death \u201csuspicious.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, police said an investigation led to the arrest of a suspect from Brampton. The OPP says Devon Alamina, 33, of Brampton, has been charged with second-degree murder.<\/p>\n
While residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area of Scouts Valley Trail, investigators say there is no ongoing threat to public safety.<\/p>\n
Investigators are urging anyone who was in or near the Scouts Valley Trail area on the evening of Tuesday to contact police.<\/p>\n
