Timothy Olyphant<\/a> has revealed how his daughter pushed him to do an advertisement<\/a> for Levi\u2019s with Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The actor, 57, spoke about starring in \u201cThe Denim Cowboy\u201d advertisement, which came out earlier this month, during Wednesday\u2019s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. He shared with host Nicole Bayer how the opportunity to work with Beyonc\u00e9 came to be. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey called and they were like, ‘Hey, Beyonc\u00e9 is doing this thing,\u2019\u201d he explained. \u201cNo one was sure what the thing was, but they wanted to know if I was free that weekend, and this is not sexy indifference, I was like, ‘I got ceramics… I don’t know.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

However, Olyphant\u2019s daughter then took matters into her own hands and convinced her father to do the Levi\u2019s campaign. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter took the phone and said to my agent, ‘Darren, he’s doing it because if he doesn’t, we won’t ever speak to him,\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cSo I’m glad she said yes. I had a lovely time.\u201d <\/p>\n

He also shared details about working on set with the \u201cHalo\u201d singer, noting she was so \u201clovely.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just stand next to her and you’re like, \u2018Look at this, I’m cooler than I was before.\u2019 It was good, I’m glad I did it,\u201d Olyphant added. <\/p>\n

The actor and his wife, Alexis Knief, share two daughters, Grace, 26, and Vivian, 22, and a 24-year-old son, Henry. <\/p>\n

In the advertisement, Olyphant is a cowboy who was impressed by Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s pool-playing skills at a dive bar. Since he lost the game to the singer, who was wearing Levi\u2019s denim, the actor had to take his jeans off and reveal his boxers to everyone. <\/p>\n

Olyphant is best known for playing strong-willed US lawman Raylan Givens in the FX show Justified, which ended in 2015 after six seasons. He starred in the show alongside Walton Goggins, who said in an interview with The Independent<\/a> that while they started out on good terms, their relationship was fractured by the end of the series. Goggins also claimed he and Olyphant \u201cweren\u2019t talking\u201d by the show\u2019s finale. <\/p>\n

Last year, Olyphant, who is now on good terms with Goggins, reacted to his co-star\u2019s claims, sharing his \u201cown version\u201d of events<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOK, here\u2019s my version. I adored working with Walt from the jump, but these actors, they\u2019re a pain in the ass. They get really into their work,\u201d he told Vanity Fair at the time. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere was this thing where, as the show went on, and especially as the thing came to an end, where I would come from the writers\u2019 room. They\u2019d add things that were like, \u2018Here\u2019s what we need Walt to do in order to get to this finale we want.\u2019 Then Walt would say his character would never do that, and then I\u2019d be like, \u2018Goddamn it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
