{"id":713676,"date":"2026-06-04T03:37:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T03:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/713676\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T03:37:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T03:37:13","slug":"okotoks-man-charged-after-thousands-of-child-sexual-exploitation-photos-found","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/713676\/","title":{"rendered":"Okotoks man charged after thousands of child sexual exploitation photos found"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\tDescrease article font size<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tIncrease article font size<\/p>\n<p>Alberta\u2019s ALERT and the Internet Child Exploitation unit have charged an Okotoks man after a disturbing discovery of thousands of child sexual exploitation photos and videos late last month.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Police say they raided the home of 35-year-old Corey Airhart on May 26, finding a collection of more than 500,000 photos and videos on several hard drives and computers.<\/p>\n<p>ICE says it\u2019s one of the largest collections of sexual exploitation photos and videos the group has ever found.<\/p>\n<p>In the past year, not including this seizure, ICE identified 622,150 photos and videos containing child sexual exploitation provincewide.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"170\" height=\"225\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/national.jpg\" alt=\"Get daily Canada news delivered to your inbox so you'll never miss the day's top stories.\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tGet daily National news<\/p>\n<p>Get daily Canada news delivered to your inbox so you&#8217;ll never miss the day&#8217;s top stories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBehind every one of the photos and videos is a real child somewhere in this world that is being exploited for a sexual purpose,\u201d said ICE Staff Sgt.
