TNG eWallet<\/a> is refreshing its homepage as services beyond payments now contribute more than half of its revenue.<\/p>\n

The new homepage will roll out from today (4 June) with a search-first layout, allowing users to find services without moving through multiple layers in the app.<\/p>\n

The update adds four quick access hubs: GOfinance for financial services, Near Me for nearby food and beverage deals, Bills for utilities and recurring payments, and Transport for commuting and travel.<\/p>\n

TNG eWallet Moves Beyond Payments<\/p>\n

TNG Digital<\/a>, the operator of TNG eWallet, attributed the revenue shift to wider use of the app across financial services, travel, remittance, merchant services, advertising and other ecosystem offerings.<\/p>\n

TNG eWallet currently serves more than 26 million verified users, with 13.5 million Malaysians using the app every month. Active users engage with the platform about twice a day on average.<\/p>\n

Cross-border, remittance and international services now account for 10% of total revenue, compared with almost no contribution a few years ago.<\/p>\n

Business-to-business offerings, including advertising, digital infrastructure services and merchant value-added services, now contribute 6% of total revenue.<\/p>\n

\u201cTNG eWallet is no longer just a payment app. Malaysians are using us to manage different parts of their everyday lives, from growing their money and travelling overseas to paying bills and earning rewards.
The strongest proof of that shift is that more than half of our revenue today comes from businesses beyond payments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the years, TNG eWallet has expanded far beyond payments. The new experience brings our ecosystem together in one place, making everyday services easier to discover and use.<\/p>\n

What that means in practice is a homepage you can search, hubs that take you directly to the services you need, and a navigation bar designed so you never have to stretch your thumb. The goal is a platform that feels like it already knows how you live.\u201d<\/p>\n

TNG Digital plans to roll out more updates as it expands TNG eWallet across financial services, commerce, travel and lifestyle use cases.<\/p>\n
