The Everywhen introduces a new setting for the series. Described as an afterlife for gods, the realm appears to bring together deities and mythological figures from multiple pantheons. Early footage suggests that reality and time behave differently within the Everywhen, creating opportunities for encounters beyond the Norse mythology that has defined the franchise since 2018.<\/p>\n
One of the most notable revelations from the gameplay presentation is the apparent inclusion of Egyptian mythology. Observers have pointed to references to the Egyptian war goddess Sekhmet and other non-Norse influences, fuelling speculation that Santa Monica Studio is laying the groundwork for the franchise\u2019s next mythological era.<\/p>\n
