He was taken into custody when officers made a second traffic stop.<\/p>\n Advertisement 3<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n They said a loaded firearm with a laser sight and a prohibited extended magazine were allegedly found on the suspect, who was under a lifetime weapons ban.<\/p>\n Roy Palmer was charged with 12 offences including dangerous operation, flight from a peace officer, impaired operation, possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a restricted\/prohibited firearm without a licence, and possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order.<\/p>\n Police are asking anyone with video footage or other information about the incident to contact them at 1-888-579-1520, Ext. 1901.
