Sean Brady has a vested interest in Belal Muhammad<\/a> vs. Gabriel Bonfim.<\/p>\n

Former welterweight champion Muhammad (24-5 MMA, 15-5 UFC) takes on rising contender Bonfim (19-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 278 (Paramount+<\/a>) headliner at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

One of Brady’s lone two career losses came to Muhammad in 2022<\/a>. He’s been eager to avenge that setback ever since, and sees an opportunity to finally get that fight back if Muhammad prevails.<\/p>\n

“I think Belal Muhammad is going to f*ck over Gabriel Bonfim, and then me and Belal are going to fight and run it back,” Brady said on his “BradyBagz Show.”<\/a> “Small cage, I think Bonfim is going to get put on his back foot by Belal, he’s going to take him down, and just rinse and repeat.<\/p>\n

“Ange Loosa did a good job of taking Bonfim down. Bonfim has good submissions, so Belal has to be wary of that. But Belal has been a world champion before. He’s going to know how to approach this fight, and I think he’s just going to drag him to the mat and rinse and just repeat that.”<\/p>\n

If Bonfim is able to beat Muhammad, Brady would be willing to fight him instead \u2013 but under one condition.<\/p>\n

“If he has the No. 5 ranking next to his name,” Brady said. “I just want somebody in the top five.”<\/p>\n
