Ahead of its launch sometime later this year, Samsung\u2019s Galaxy S26 FE has surfaced online early, showcasing a familiar, but slightly updated design.<\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s \u201cFan Edition\u201d series continues to be in a weird spot in the lineup, but they keep on coming year after year. We\u2019re not due for a Galaxy S26 FE quite yet, but its launch should come sometime around August or September. <\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s shown up in a real-world image.<\/p>\n

We spotted an early WPC listing<\/a> for the Galaxy S26 FE this evening which shows the Galaxy S26 FE clearly in a real-world image. The device, carrying model number SM-S741, has a familiar design setup \u2013 an ever-so-slightly modified version of the main Galaxy S26.<\/p>\n

The difference between Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S26 FE, at least as far as we can tell in this single image, essentially boils down to just a new camera bump. Like the full flagships, the FE is getting a raised camera bump similar to what\u2019s been installed on the Galaxy Z Fold series for a couple of generations now. <\/p>\n

But it looks\u2026 off this time.<\/p>\n

The placement seems to be the issue, with the camera bump just getting a tiny bit too close to the side and top edges of the phone. On every other device where we\u2019ve seen this design, it\u2019s been a bit further away, so it just looks a bit funky on this one.<\/p>\n

As for what Galaxy S26 FE will bring to the table, there\u2019s only a little bit known so far. A recent leak<\/a> suggested the use of Exynos 2500 and 8GB of RAM, with Android 17 out of the box. We\u2019ll probably learn more in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
