{"id":721925,"date":"2026-06-07T23:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-07T23:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/721925\/"},"modified":"2026-06-07T23:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-07T23:54:09","slug":"2-motorcyclists-hurt-in-scarborough-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/721925\/","title":{"rendered":"2 motorcyclists hurt in Scarborough crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Two motorcyclists have been taken to the hospital following a collision in Scarborough on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The crash happened in the Highland Creek neighbourhood, near Military Trail and Ellesmere roads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to that area at around 3:20 p.m. for reports of a motorcycle involved in single-vehicle collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They say a second motorcyclist who was attempting to avoid that incident was involved in a collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police say both riders were ejected off motorcycles, one of whom is being as a female rider in her 20s with serious injuries. The other, they later said, is also a female in her 20s. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Military Trail Road remains closed in both directions north of Ellesmere Road for the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">More details to come.
