IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The world is changing and you must change with it. Make it your No. 1 aim over the coming year to keep abreast of developments, especially in your career, that could affect you directly. Move fast and stay ahead of the curve.

Your powers of self-discipline will be put to the test today as you are tempted to neglect a tedious but necessary task for something a little more fun instead. Get that task finished now or it will be even harder to complete later on.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

There has been an excess of drama in your world of late and it’s getting to the stage where you are getting annoyed about it. Let others know that you will no longer put up with their overly emotional reactions to events that are really no big deal.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you need to improve a relationship that has turned sour in recent weeks then what happens over the next few days will make that possible. But the first move must come from you. If you expect them to say sorry first you could be waiting forever.

Venus in your sign joins forces with Jupiter, planet of good fortune, today and tomorrow, which means if you make an effort to get along with other people they will go out of their way to do good things for you. Love is always the best investment.

It’s not like you to let your fears get out of hand but you appear to believe that the world has got it in for you. The trouble with that sort of thinking is it tends to be self-fulfilling, so snap out of it and get smiling again.

It is of the utmost importance that you adopt a positive outlook no matter what might occur today. What seems like a setback to begin with could later reveal itself to be one of the best things that has happened to you, so be positive!

Opportunities to improve your status will come thick and fast over the next few days, so be ready for them and don’t hesitate to act when fate works its magic. And don’t feel bad that you may be moving up at someone else’s expense.

What occurs today will do your ego a power of good, but as you tend to think highly of yourself anyway there is a danger you could get carried away and believe what your fawning admirers say about you. You’re human, not superhuman!

The influence of Venus and Jupiter in the wealth area of your chart means you have what it takes to make some serious money. You will, however, need to curb the more reckless side of your nature － or it could be easy come, easy go.

Whatever issues you may have with loved ones each and every one of them can be resolved over the next few days. The fact that you can no longer be bothered to argue over what are, and always have been, trivial differences will help.

Not everyone can be as sharp as you and there is no point wishing that other people would think and act on the same level. It takes all kinds to make a world and if everyone was like you then you wouldn’t be so special!

Do what feels right to you today and don’t lose a moment’s sleep over the fact that some people think you have got it wrong. The planets are so much in your favour now that even if you do make an error you can easily correct it.

Open this photo in gallery: Gemini.iStockPhoto / Getty Images IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY The world is changing…

[8
49,48,2786,2789,2787,2788,75,2784,2790,1400,2785
post-722857","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-daily-horoscope","tag-daily-horoscope-globe-and-mail","tag-daily-horoscopes","tag-daily-horoscopes-globe-and-mail","tag-entertainment","tag-horoscope","tag-sally-brompton","tag-yespop","tag-yessnap
["GET
