Prince Harry hopes to bring Meghan Markle<\/a> and their children back to England within weeks \u2014 but there\u2019s still no chance he will see his estranged brother,\u00a0Prince William, sources told Page Six.<\/p>\n

Harry, 41, is set to arrive in July to promote his Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next year \u2014 and he desperately wants to bring his family over to see his father, King Charles.<\/p>\n

However, the prince\u2019s security fight with his homeland\u2019s government <\/a>is still not fully resolved, we\u2019re told, despite his hopes the UK Home Office would finally sign off on taxpayer-funded, armed security for his wife and children.<\/p>\n

Meghan Markle posted a sweet photo with Princess Lilibet on Instagram to celebrate her 5th birthday last week, calling her \u201cour dream girl.\u201d Meghan, Duchess of Sussex \/ Instagram<\/p>\n

Princess Lilibet was born in the USA and has only been to the UK once, back in 2022, when she met her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex \/ Instagram<\/p>\n

As multiple sources have told us, Harry is keen to reconcile <\/a>with the royal family.<\/p>\n

He was still persona non grata, however, at his cousin Peter Phillips\u2019 wedding to Harriet Sperling this past weekend. Harry was not invited to the celebration, we have confirmed, while William was joined by wife Kate Middleton and King Charles and Queen Camilla also attended, as did Princess Beatrice and a pregnant Princess Eugenie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Harry would love to bring Markle, 45, and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, back to his homeland, sources stressed that no firm plans have been made and matters are first focused on the Invictus event.<\/p>\n

Harry is set to attend a \u201cone-year-to-go\u201d countdown celebration for the games, scheduled for July 10\u201317, 2027.<\/p>\n

Markle posted photos last month of herself wearing mouse ears during a family trip to Disneyland in California, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilbet. Meghan\/ Instagram<\/p>\n

There have been reports the prince does not have his brother\u2019s phone number; however, we\u2019re told this is \u201cnonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n

But he has not seen William since the the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II<\/a> in September 2022. William, sources said, remains furious over Harry\u2019s tell-all memoir, \u201cSpare,\u201d in which he slammed both his brother and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n

Markle has spoken openly about her time living behind palace walls, claiming she was left in tears and suffered racism.<\/p>\n

This would be her first time back in her husband\u2019s homeland since the queen\u2019s funeral. <\/p>\n

Archie, 7, was just an infant when he left the UK for a new life in Montecito, California. Lilibet, 5, has only been to the UK once, in June 2022 for the queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee celebrations<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Both children have barely met their grandfather, King Charles, and sources said Harry would love to rectify this.<\/p>\n

Harry has pleaded for armed protection when visiting the UK, telling the BBC last May that he was \u201cdevastated\u201d to lose a legal challenge over his security.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n

In January, the Daily Mail<\/a> cited government sources saying his security would be approved, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is nailed on for Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Harry and his lawyers have yet to have an update from the Home Office, sources confirmed.<\/p>\n

We have reached out to Sussex reps for comment. <\/p>\n

With or without his family, as of yet there is no agreed time for Harry to meet with his dad, we\u2019re told.<\/p>\n

He last saw Charles, 77, in September 2025, in London for tea.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,\u201d Harry told the BBC <\/a>last year, adding he had now \u201cforgiven\u201d them.<\/p>\n

Referring to Charles\u2019 illness, Harry said he did not \u201cknow how much longer my father has left.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love reconciliation with my family. There\u2019s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious,\u201d he added, saying that security had \u201calways been the sticking point.\u201d<\/p>\n
