{"id":724484,"date":"2026-06-09T04:51:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-09T04:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/724484\/"},"modified":"2026-06-09T04:51:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T04:51:12","slug":"former-f1-brand-caterham-pays-tribute-to-the-nurburgring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/724484\/","title":{"rendered":"Former F1 brand Caterham pays tribute to the N\u00fcrburgring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/caterham-seven-nurburgring-edition-2.jpg\" alt=\"Former F1 brand Caterham pays tribute to the N\u00fcrburgring\" class=\"gh-post-page__image\" loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><br \/>\n                            The Caterham Seven N\u00fcrburgring Edition<\/p>\n<p>If you asked a group of car enthusiasts to name an iconic circuit, it\u2019s likely the N\u00fcrburgring will be a common pick, and the same could be said for the Caterham Seven and sports cars.<\/p>\n<p>Now, to celebrate a century of the N\u00fcrburgring Nordschleife, Caterham has released a limited edition version of the Seven, said to be \u201cshaped by the Green Hell itself\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the Seven 420, the Seven N\u00fcrburgring Edition is limited to 100 examples \u2013 one for every year the N\u00fcrburgring has been open \u2013 and is different from standard versions of the roofless sports car with its specific dampers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/caterham-seven-nurburgring-edition-1.jpg\" class=\"kg-image\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\"  \/>A bespoke livery has been designed for the Caterham Seven<\/p>\n<p>Made by Bilstein, Caterham says the dampers were &#8220;engineered specifically around the demands of the N\u00fcrburgring\u201d, while not compromising the on-road driving ability of the Seven.<\/p>\n<p>Additional changes include a N\u00fcrburgring-specific livery including the track\u2019s logo, a red track day roll bar, a specific grille and also carbon aero \u2018whiskers\u2019 on the nosecone.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the small cabin its leather seats feature N\u00fcrburgring embroidery and red stitching, while the carbon treatment extends to the interior panels.
