Tucked into the ground floor of a historic limestone building in Mile End<\/a> on the border of Outremont (home to Justin Trudeau\u2014and possibly Katy Perry\u2019s\u2014new $4 million, 7-bedroom house<\/a>), is a narrow, playful space home to some killer gelato.<\/p>\n

Designed by MRDK (the creatives behind the impossibly stunning sandwicherie Donato<\/a>) in collaboration with artist Dan Climan, the petite shop on Rue Bernard may be tiny in size, but is big in personality.<\/p>\n

Dalmata, the new sweet spot from the team behind Le Violon, takes classic gelateria vibes and turns them up a notch using bold colours and cinematic charm\u2014think retro palette that’s equal parts elegant and theatrical.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking about burnt orange walls, dusty pink wainscoting, a brown-and-white striped awning and black-and-white mosaic floors.<\/p>\n
