STARZ is stepping into the ring with serious heat.<\/p>\n
The network has officially dropped the first teaser trailer and key art for its upcoming original crime drama \u201cFightland\u201d \u2014 and it\u2019s already looking like a knockout.<\/p>\n
From executive producer Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson, the gritty new series premieres July 31, delivering a hard-hitting mix of family drama, criminal power struggles, and bone-crunching boxing action set against the neon-lit, dangerous underworld of London\u2019s fight scene.<\/p>\n
Episodes will debut weekly on Fridays, exclusively on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.<\/p>\n

At the center of Fightland is British boxer Duke Kilroy (Howard Charles), who reaches the pinnacle of success by becoming world heavyweight champion \u2014 only to have his life shattered the same night his brother, Calvin, is brutally murdered.<\/p>\n
The tragedy sends Duke spiraling, and his response lands him an eight-year prison sentence in the U.S.<\/p>\n
But prison doesn\u2019t break him \u2014 it sharpens him.<\/p>\n
Upon release, Duke returns home to uncover a dark truth: the man he believes orchestrated everything is none other than former promoter and criminal kingpin Kingsley Marshall (Nicholas Pinnock)\u2026 who has now vanished.<\/p>\n
Left behind in Kingsley\u2019s absence is his family \u2014 including his wife Joy (Deborah Ayorinde), who also happens to be Duke\u2019s former love.<\/p>\n
