NASHVILLE RECAP: Sawalich earned his third consecutive top-five finish at Nashville Superspeedway with a third-place finish.<\/p>\n
ON THE PITBOX: Sawalich is paired with veteran crew chief Jeff Meendering for the 19-year-old\u2019s second NOAPS season. The duo\u2019s Rockingham victory earlier this year was Meendering\u2019s 11th career NOAPS win. Meendering has 8 NOAPS starts at Pocono with three top-10 finishes.<\/p>\n

CREWS AT POCONO: This weekend will mark Brent Crews\u2019 first appearance at the Pocono Raceway. So far this season, the rookie has found success at tracks where he had never previously competed, putting together a four-race streak of top-five finishes, including strong runs at three first-time tracks such as Kansas, Talladega, and Texas.<\/p>\n
NASHVILLE RECAP: In his 12th start in the O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Series and his first appearance at Nashville Superspeedway, the 18-year-old proved he could compete. After inclement weather at the track forced qualifying to be canceled and the starting lineup was set by the rulebook, Crews rolled off 33rd for the 188-lap event. By the end of Stage 1, he had charged into the top 10 and earned a stage point. In Stage 2, Crews climbed to fifth by lap 72 and was battling for the lead by lap 105. After starting 33rd, he took command of the race and led a personal-best 45 laps, his most in an O\u2019Reilly Series event. By lap 137, Crews had built a 3.237-second lead over second place. Unfortunately, he later got loose on Turn 1 and lost the lead, ultimately settling for a runner-up finish in the Music City. The result marked his second runner-up finish of the season after coming up just short at Talladega.<\/p>\n
SETH CHAVKA: 2026 will mark Chavka\u2019s third consecutive season atop the O\u2019Reilly No. 19 pit box. Last year, the Alaska native led the No. 19 team to three trips to victory lane with veteran driver Aric Almirola and capped off the season by capturing the O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Series Owners Championship with multiple drivers throughout the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

JONES AT POCONO: Brandon Jones will make his 11th career NASCAR O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Series start at Pocono Raceway this weekend. In his 10 prior starts, Jones has compiled three top-10s and 23 laps led, with a best finish of seventh, which he has achieved twice. In last year\u2019s event, Jones qualified second, led six laps, and won the first stage before a mid-race spin put him out of contention. He finished 18th on the day despite showing front-running speed. Pocono is also the site of Jones\u2019 lone NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series win, which he earned in 2020 after a last-lap pass earned him a trip to victory lane. Jones\u2019 experience at Pocono extends to the ARCA Menards Series as well, where he has scored three top-fives in three starts, highlighted by a best finish of second.<\/p>\n
NASHVILLE RECAP: Brandon Jones drove his way from the back to the front in his most recent start in Nashville. After starting from the rear due to an alternator replacement, Jones methodically worked his way through the field, making it up to 15th by the end of the first stage. Jones followed up his progress with an 11th- place finish in stage two before driving up to fifth place by the end of the race. The run marked Jones\u2019 fourth top-five run of the season.<\/p>\n
CREW CHIEF: Sam McAulay has led two O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Series entries at Pocono Raceway, with a best finish of fourth coming in 2024 with Sheldon Creed. Qualifying at Pocono has been a strength for McAulay, as his entries have scored a pole and a second-place start in two attempts. In total, McAulay has scored 27 top\u2011fives, 45 top\u201110s, and two victories as he works through his third full-time season as a crew chief in the series.<\/p>\n

GRAY AT POCONO: Taylor Gray has finished inside the top 10 in all five of his starts at Pocono Raceway. In two NASCAR O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Series starts at the Tricky Triangle, Gray finished fifth in 2024 and ninth last season. In two NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts at the track, he finished third in 2023 and fourth in 2024. Gray led 38 of 64 laps to win the ARCA Menards Series race at Pocono in 2022.<\/p>\n
NASHVILLE RECAP: The No. 54 team finished ninth in the most recent O\u2019Reilly Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. After starting 27th, Gray worked his way to 14th in stage one. A flat tire under caution forced him to line up 29th to begin stage two. He once again rallied back towards the front and found his way up to 12th at the end of the second segment. Gray ran inside the top 10 throughout the final segment before finishing ninth.<\/p>\n
CREW CHIEF: Veteran crew chief Jason Ratcliff is overseeing the No. 54 O\u2019Reilly Series team this season. Ratcliff is the winningest crew chief in O\u2019Reilly Series history with 59 victories. His resume includes a pair of NASCAR Cup Series wins at Pocono Raceway with Joey Logano (2012) and Matt Kenseth (2015).<\/p>\n
