South Surrey school hosts art exhibition, fundraiser June 13<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a great reason to go to school on a Saturday evening in South Surrey this weekend.<\/p>\n
Saint John Paul II Academy is hosting God\u2019s Creation by Banovich \u2014 an art exhibition, book signing, and fundraiser featuring internationally recognized wildlife artist and photographer John Banovich \u2014 this Saturday, June 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
The evening will showcase 10 of Banovich\u2019s limited-edition framed wildlife pieces, 60 signed copies of his coffee-table book BANOVICH, live ambient piano, and the opportunity to meet the artist in person.<\/p>\n
The evening also includes a personal multimedia presentation by Banovich \u2014 three decades of stories from the field, with time for questions, a SJPII release noted.<\/p>\n
Also a fundraiser in support of the SJPII Academy Bursary Program, every art and book purchase at the event contributes 20 per cent directly to the Academy, supporting families seeking a Catholic education at SJPII.<\/p>\n
Admission is free, and all are welcome.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe event will certainly be a special evening of art, faith, culture, music, and community!\u201d the release said.<\/p>\n
