Kochi: Actor and comedian Dharmajan Bolgatty has spoken out in strong support of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), citing his own experience as proof of the organisation’s silent but important welfare work.<\/p>\n
Speaking after casting his vote in Friday\u2019s crucial AMMA elections, Dharmajan revealed that he requires two tablets daily and the organisation ensures they reach his home without fail.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo one talks about these things,\u201d he said. \u201cIf there’s a mistake, people rush to criticise. But AMMA has built houses, given treatment support, sent medicines\u2026 that goes unnoticed… I have to take two tablets daily, and they reach me at home on time thanks to AMMA.\u201d<\/p>\n
His comments come amid long-standing criticisms of the association\u2019s transparency and inclusivity. However, Dharmajan believes the organisation remains a positive force when led by the right people.<\/p>\n
