\n\tAlthough Game of Thrones<\/a> had its share of uncomfortable incestuous plot lines, Sophie Turner<\/a> and Kit Harington<\/a> avoided the worst of it\u2026 until now.<\/p>\n

\n\tReuniting with her former onscreen brother\/cousin in writer\/director Natasha Kermani<\/a>\u2018s upcoming gothic horror film The Dreadful<\/a>, Turner admitted she and Harington were \u201cboth retching\u201d when it came time to shoot the movie\u2019s intimate scenes.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019d just got the script for this amazing gothic horror called The Dreadful, and I was reading through all the characters,\u201d she recalled on Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/a>. \u201cAnd I\u2019m producing it, so the director was asking me, \u2018Who do you think?\u2019 And immediately, the first person I thought of was Kit.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd so, I sent the script to Kit, and he kind of sent me a message back going like, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019d love to, but this is going to be really f***ing weird, Soph.\u2019 And I was like, what is he talking about? Then I was reading it, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex scene.\u2019 And then I\u2019m like, oh shoot, that\u2019s my brother. But it\u2019s such a good script that he\u2019s like, \u2018We kind of have to do it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTurner continued, \u201cSo, then we put it out of our minds, and then we get on set, and it\u2019s the first kissing scene. And we are both retching, like really, it is vile. It was the worst, another really bad moment in my career.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSet against the backdrop of the War of the Roses, The Dreadful follows Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law Morwen (Marcia Gay Harden<\/a>), who live a solitary, harsh life on the outskirts of society. But when a man (Harington) from their past returns, he will set off a sequence of events that become a turning point for Anne.<\/p>\n
