Japanese magazine Famitsu<\/a> just celebrated its 40th anniversary, and in honor of the occasion, a big nationwide survey was held. Results were published in this week\u2019s issue.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Participants were asked about a variety of topics, including the game and series that influenced them the most, their favorite character, favorite developer, and more. Over 5,000 people were involved with the survey.<\/p>\n

As you\u2019d expect, Nintendo got a lot of love throughout. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Big N was chosen as the overall favorite developer. Additionally, Mario was the top character choice. Zelda: Breath of the Wild was also selected as the #1 title people would recommend to others.<\/p>\n
