In testing for several months now, Waze is starting to roll out traffic lights more widely in navigation, but it\u2019s still not available to everyone.<\/p>\n

The ability to see traffic lights during map navigation can be super useful, especially in settings where a traffic light comes up on a long road. But while this has become a widely available part of Google Maps<\/a> and Apple Maps, Waze has been lagging behind. <\/p>\n

Waze was spotted testing traffic lights back in December 2025<\/a> and, now, it seems to be showing up for more users. There have been on-and-off reports of this for\u00a0a couple of months<\/a>, and a\u00a0Reddit thread<\/a>\u00a0this week shows several more users seeing the feature, some within just the past week or two, others for longer.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear when Waze will open up the floodgates on this one, but it\u2019s certainly more widely available than it was a few months ago.<\/p>\n
