With prevailing easterly winds, it\u2019s unlikely it\u2019ll go anywhere else, which is a major problem for the town.<\/p>\n<p>If the massive animal remains on the beach, it\u2019s likely up to the municipality to have it removed.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s something the town is currently trying to figure out but Mayor Tammy Oliver says the answers are not readily available.<\/p>\n<p>The problem says Oliver, is that the options are limited. She says the animal cannot be towed into the bay because it poses a hazard for navigation. It can\u2019t be towed elsewhere because they\u2019re surrounded by other communities.<\/p>\n<p>She says the only option may be to bury it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf that\u2019s what\u2019s got to be done, that\u2019s fine.
