\n\tWhile his older brother has yet to completely exile him from the family, a new book about Andrew, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York<\/a>, claims William \u201chas long worked behind the scenes to evict his uncle from Royal Lodge.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to the book\u2019s author, Andrew Lownie, their issues allegedly stem from \u201crude\u201d and \u201cnasty\u201d comments Andrew has made about Kate Middleton<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI can\u2019t see how anyone could make unkind comments about Kate when she\u2019s been the family\u2019s saving grace. It surprised me, but people do get jealous,\u201d Lownie claimed in an interview with Radar Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tA source told the outlet that the British public\u2019s love for Kate unearthed a jealous streak in the controversial prince, who is described a \u201centitled\u201d and \u201cunruly\u201d in the book. \u201cAndrew always thought he would be the golden boy of the royal family, as, despite his faults, he was Queen Elizabeth\u2019s favorite son,\u201d the source said. \u201cBut he has seen Kate rise to that position due to her grace, composure and lack of scandals \u2013 and he is furious she has put him to even more shame.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWilliam has a very strong sense of public duty and is doing his best to keep the show on the road,\u201d Lownie added. \u201cHe\u2019s all about doing things the right way and has enough on his plate without having to think about his uncle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReports about William and Andrew\u2019s strained relationship have circulated for quite some time, with sources noting in January<\/a> that the Duke of York\u2019s many scandals have \u201ccaused\u00a0panic in the palace.\u201d<\/p>\n
