Edouard Akopcan, head of publishing at ShiftUp, said that the announcement was \u201ca huge deal for our self-publishing ambitions\u201d and is \u201ca first step towards serving as many fans as we can\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Akopcan\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Dadedd\/status\/2065231176156196873\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">full comments<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing able to announce a new platform (NS2) after being exclusive to PS5 is a huge deal for our self-publishing ambitions. It\u2019s a first step towards serving as many fans as we can, but it will take some time for us to build the structure we need to make it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the same thread, Akopcan was asked about the possibility of Stellar Blade: Bloodrain on Nintendo Switch 2. The company just announced the follow-up last week.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than giving a direct reply, Akopcan asked his own question. He wrote: \u201cWould GTA VI run on a Switch 2 device?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Make of that what you will. Right now ShiftUp is clearly noncommittal about a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade: Bloodrain, but that doesn\u2019t mean it won\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n<p>For now, we can look forward to the original Stellar Blade on Nintendo Switch 2.
