{"id":733660,"date":"2026-06-13T06:39:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T06:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/733660\/"},"modified":"2026-06-13T06:39:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T06:39:14","slug":"charges-upgraded-in-west-end-vehicle-ramming-that-killed-senior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/733660\/","title":{"rendered":"Charges upgraded in West End vehicle-ramming that killed senior"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charges against the man who is accused in the West End vehicle-ramming incident last month have been upgraded to murder, Vancouver Police Department says.<\/p>\n<p>The accused, 34-year-old Tadd Bali, is now facing one count each of second-degree murder and attempted murder, as well as two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.<\/p>\n<p>The upgraded charges stem from the death of 75-year-old Johnny Sudds, who was wheelchair-bound, was struck by Bali.
