Just like denim<\/a> trends, hairstyles come and go, but Amal Clooney is bringing back two retro (and unexpected) styles at the same time.<\/p>\n The human rights lawyer stepped out in Bangkok, Thailand, for a Women\u2019s Initiative Event with a new haircut<\/a> that pulls inspiration from bell-bottom jeans \u00e0 la the \u201970s, and it\u2019s a timeless and elegant rebrand of the old-fashioned style. Clooney\u2019s longtime hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, pulled inspiration from her outfit, a tiered, geometric lilac dress from Prada with a sleek, rounded neckline and draping in the back, paired with Cartier jewelry. To give Clooney\u2019s hair that true bell-bottom shape and complement the structure of the dress, he kept itstraight and sleek at the top and added lots of rounded volume to the ends.<\/p>\n @dimitrishair<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to complete the look on her hair with something timeless, chic\u2014but, at the same time, make it bold,\u201d the hairstylist shares on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cSince her dress is geometrical, I wanted her hair to have a \u201970s flair! I gave her the \u2018bell-bottom haircut\u2019 before I styled it in a soft, bouncy blowout.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only did Giannetos bring back the voluminous look, but he added a retro side part, combining a few nostalgic hair eras into one style. As for Clooney\u2019s color, she is still rocking the \u201cCartier panther\u201d inspired highlights,<\/a> which she debuted back in April. Giannetos also created Clooney\u2019s makeup look using Opus Beauty.
