PECelebrates, a celebration of community, cultures and Canada, will take place June 14 \u2013 July 1 across Prince Edward County.<\/p>\n
PECelebrates features a variety of events and activities that mark National Indigenous History Month, National Indigenous Peoples Day, Pride Month, Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and Canada Day.<\/p>\n

The Sophiasburgh Recreation Committee will host a Pride Picnic & Skate Social from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the rink behind the Sophiasburgh Town Hall (2771 County Road 5, Demorestville) on Sunday, June 14.<\/p>\n
The Bay of Quinte Regional Pride Festival takes place at Crystal Palace (375 Picton Main Street) on Saturday, June 20. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is a free community event where everyone is welcome. The Pride Parade will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Picton Main Street from Lake Street to the Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

The Wellington Recreation Committee is excited to continue a great County tradition, the Wellington Street Dance and Fireworks Show. The event will begin on Tuesday, June 30 at 5:30 p.m. with live music by Cue the Funk at 6:30 p.m. under the gazebo at Wellington Park (243 Wellington Main Street). The evening wraps up at dusk with fireworks at Wellington Rotary Beach (1 Beach Street).<\/p>\n
The Wellington Recreation Committee presents the annual Canada Day parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. The parade will be followed by Music in the Park from 12 p.m. to 2 pm presented by the Prince Edward County Lions Club featuring music by Heartlight. BBQ hotdogs and water will be available by donation.

Canada Day in Picton is presented by the Picton Recreation Committee. Come join in the fun with activities for all ages in downtown Picton from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a Canada Day celebration for everyone! There will be live music, street vendors and fun activities for all ages, including special activities to celebrate the world\u2019s largest soccer event coming to Canada. Everyone is welcome at this free community event. Activities will take place downtown Picton as well as at Benson Park (56 King Street).<\/p>\n
