The 37-year-old was arrested with the assistance of the Gatineau Police Service and is charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a body. <\/p>\n<p>Last week, OPP arrested Luc D\u00e9carie of St-Gabriel-de-Brandon, Que. who is charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a body.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 5:30 p.m., on May 17, 2025, officers responded to reports of a body located in the water, offshore from the Dallaire Street area. A postmortem led police to identify the remains of Prevost and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ottawa.citynews.ca\/2025\/04\/07\/foul-play-suspected-in-the-case-of-missing-clarence-rockland-man\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">launch a probe<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ottawa.citynews.ca\/2025\/04\/07\/foul-play-suspected-in-the-case-of-missing-clarence-rockland-man\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0<\/a>into his death.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the person is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ottawa.citynews.ca\/2025\/04\/07\/foul-play-suspected-in-the-case-of-missing-clarence-rockland-man\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">identified as Robert Prevost<\/a>, 63, who was reported missing in early March of last year, but had not been seen since early February.
