Sophie Turner<\/a> is opening up about the unexpected role she played in the demise of a celebrity couple\u2019s relationship. <\/p>\n

Though Turner remembers that first encounter with Meyers fondly, she said the evening \u201cwent really south really quick\u201d when she attempted to say hello to an unidentified actor at the request of her friend, who was a fan. <\/p>\n

Turner hadn\u2019t met the actor before, so she simply waved at him from afar. But it wasn\u2019t long before she came to regret that seemingly friendly gesture. Moments later, she noticed \u201cthis girl looking at me, and she\u2019s a famous actress,\u201d at which point she decided to make an introduction. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Turner says the female actor, who she did not identify by name, replied with a stern warning to \u201cstop fucking flirting with my fianc\u00e9.\u201d And though Turner insisted she had \u201cno idea who this man is,\u201d her wave put an end to the romance. <\/p>\n

\u201cTurns out, they broke their engagement off that night,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI didn\u2019t realize I held this power.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the chat, Turner said she couldn\u2019t share the couple\u2019s names with Meyers and his audience, or she\u2019d \u201cget in a lot of trouble.\u201d <\/p>\n

Turner, whose credits also include \u201cX-Men: Apocalypse\u201d and \u201cDark Phoenix,\u201d returns to the big screen next week in a new thriller, \u201cTrust<\/a>.\u201d She stars as Lauren Lane, a Hollywood actor who retreats to a remote cabin after a public scandal, only to find herself fighting for her life under terrifying circumstances. <\/p>\n

She\u2019s also set to reunite with her \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d co-star Kit Harrington<\/a> in the forthcoming horror film \u201cThe Dreadful<\/a>.\u201d In her chat with Meyers, the actor said she and Harrington felt awkward filming some of the movie\u2019s love scenes at first, given that their \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d characters were siblings. <\/p>\n
