It was a clear winner, with the next nearest being Sophy Romvari\u2019s Canadian indie film \u201cBlue Heron\u201d at 38.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining three of the top five were all major studio films \u2013 Nia DaCosta\u2019s \u201c28 Years Later: The Bone Temple\u201d with 35, Sam Raimi\u2019s \u201cSend Help\u201d with 32, and Steven Spielberg\u2019s \u201cDisclosure Day\u201d with 31.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the top ten were \u201cObsession,\u201d \u201cBackrooms,\u201d \u201cTuner,\u201d \u201cPillion\u201d and \u201cNirvanna The Band the Show the Movie\u201d.  The consensus overall has been that the first half of the year has mostly been pretty disappointing movie-wise.<\/p>\n<p>Compare this to a poll taken at the same time last year, when Ryan Coogler\u2019s \u201cSinners\u201d pulled in 110 votes and Steven Soderbergh\u2019s \u201cBlack Bag\u201d nabbed 71.<\/p>\n<p>However, there\u2019s still just over six months to go with many of the biggest potential critical hits of the year \u2013 Christopher Nolan\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey,\u201d Denis Villeneuve\u2019s \u201cDune: Part Three,\u201d David Fincher\u2019s \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth,\u201d Alejandro Inarritu\u2019s \u201cDigger,\u201d Aaron Sorkin\u2019s \u201cThe Social Reckoning,\u201d David O.
