Week 1 ran without Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, BC, and Toronto hosting. Week 2 put two of the league’s three biggest 2025 draws on home turf. That swing accounts for most of the 10,753-fan increase.

How Week 2 Compares to 2025

The 2025 CFL regular season averaged about 22,950 fans per game. Week 2’s 27,872 average sits well above that mark, driven by the Winnipeg and Saskatchewan home dates.
