\"\"<\/a>HBO Max<\/p>\n

HBO Max\u2019s \u201cHeated Rivalry\u201d and \u201cIndustry,\u201d and Apple TV\u2019s \u201cWidow\u2019s Bay\u201d topped this year\u2019s list of nominees for the Television Critics Association awards. All three shows scored five nominations each from the voting members.<\/p>\n

Both streaming services dominated the field with HBO Max\u2019s \u201cHacks\u201d and \u201cThe Pitt\u201d and Apple TV\u2019s \u201cPluribus\u201d coming in next with four; while HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Comeback\u201d and Apple TV\u2019s \u201cMargo\u2019s Got Money Troubles\u201d and \u201cShrinking\u201d scored three nominations each.<\/p>\n

Aside from \u2018Margo\u2019, all of those aforementioned shows are competing for the top award of Program of the Year alongside CBS\u2019 \u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert\u201d.<\/p>\n

Other shows which landed one or two nominations include \u201cAlien: Earth,\u201d \u201cThe Beast in Me,\u201d \u201cBeef,\u201d \u201cThe Chair Company,\u201d \u201cDeath by Lightning,\u201d \u201cDTF St. Louis,\u201d \u201cThe Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,\u201d \u201cThe Gilded Age,\u201d \u201cHalf Man,\u201d \u201cLord of the Flies,\u201d \u201cThe Lowdown,\u201d \u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,\u201d \u201cParadise,\u201d \u201cStar Wars: Maul \u2013 Shadow Lord\u201d and \u201cTask\u201d.<\/p>\n

Notable omissions included \u201cThe Bear,\u201d \u201cThe Diplomat,\u201d \u201cFallout,\u201d \u201cOnly Murders in the Building,\u201d \u201cSlow Horses,\u201d and \u201cWonder Man\u201d. There will be no in-person ceremony for the TCA Awards this year with winners announced later this summer just ahead of Emmy nominations. <\/p>\n

\u201cHeated Rivalry\u201d has made headlines for not being allowed to be nominated for Emmys as there is no U.S. ownership \u2013 HBO Max only licenses the title from Canada\u2019s Crave. If HBO were to come onboard as co-producer that could make it eligible, but HBO has said there are no plans to.<\/p>\n
