{"id":739234,"date":"2026-06-15T23:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T23:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/739234\/"},"modified":"2026-06-15T23:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T23:14:09","slug":"surrey-police-looking-for-help-identifying-sex-assault-suspect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/739234\/","title":{"rendered":"Surrey police looking for help identifying sex assault suspect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Surrey Police Service (SPS) is asking the public for help identifying a suspect in a sex assault involving a teen victim in Surrey\u2019s Clayton Heights neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p>On June 6, around 7 p.m., SPS officers responded to a report of a sexual assault where a female teenaged victim reported that she was sexually assaulted at approximately 4:30 p.m. near 188th Street and 70th Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect allegedly approached the victim from behind and assaulted her.<\/p>\n<p>The teen victim was able to flee and run to safety.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is described as a man, approximately 6\u20191\u201d to 6\u20192\u201d tall, medium build and approximately 20 years of age.
