A stuntman at heart, Maxime Poulin grew up with a passion for extreme sports. At 16, he discovered the circus arts and quickly realized that the performing arts would be his path. At 24, he graduated from l\u2019\u00c9cole nationale de cirque de Montr\u00e9al, where he developed a particular talent for artistic cycling as well as a passion for comedy, theatre and character performance. It was during this period that he created Jerry Tremblay, a character that would become the cornerstone of his career. Since then, Maxime has earned numerous distinctions, winning several awards at prestigious circus festivals across Europe. He has represented Canada three times at the World Artistic Cycling Championships and has presented his humorous and circus acts on various television shows in Canada and Europe. He has also performed more than 1,500 times in some twenty European cabarets and appeared on four continents. Whether through circus or comedy, Maxime places great importance on pushing his own limits. This commitment is reflected in his choice to perform in French, English, Spanish and German, as well as in his ability to deliver impressive circus acts while mastering the art of cabaret direction. His pursuit goes beyond performance: he seeks to challenge himself as a human being, allowing his personal evolution to be reflected in the depth and maturity of his artistic voice. Maxime Poulin adheres to a rigorous artistic ethic rooted in kindness and respect\u2014for both his audience and himself. It is this ethic, combined with his boldness and versatility, that makes him the unique and deeply moving artist he is today.<\/p>\n
