Tyson Fury\u2019s appearance at Sunday\u2019s UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House shocked many onlookers.<\/p>\n
The former two-time heavyweight champion was seen in the US for the first time in five years following his connection to former boxing advisor and alleged Irish drug cartel head Daniel Kinahan. He was seen at the White House alongside UFC and Zuffa Boxing head Dana White as well as President Donal Trump, and teased a \u201cmassive\u201d announcement.<\/p>\n
The appearance seems to be linked to the ongoing saga between White and Eddie Hearn over who is promoting Fury\u2019s long overdue clash with Anthony Joshua. Hearn has said in Joshua\u2019s contract that White and Zuffa can have nothing to do with the event, but with Fury and White teasing working together it now leaves many questions.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the last couple of weeks, I’ve been hearing from the media and other people that I’m not involved in the fight,\u201d said White following Sunday\u2019s event. \u201cI’ve been hearing that Tyson Fury couldn’t get out of the country and couldn’t get into the United States and it just seems like everybody’s always wrong.<\/p>\n
