His four-seam fastball had an average velocity of 94.4 mph. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It was Garcia\u2019s seventh rehab appearance in 2026 and his third with the Bisons. He has not pitched for the Blue Jays since July 2, 2025 against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/new-york-yankees\/234\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/new-york-yankees\/234\" target=\"_blank\">New York Yankees<\/a> due to an elbow injury requiring surgery. He posted a 3.86 ERA over 22 appearance with the Blue Jays in 2025. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/article\/matheson-injury-updates-on-blue-jays-garcia-bieber-barger\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/article\/matheson-injury-updates-on-blue-jays-garcia-bieber-barger\/\">on Tuesday<\/a> that Garcia could join the Blue Jays on their road trip. The Blue Jays are third in the AL East with a 34-38 record.
