We are announcing the launch of the planning phase for the <a href=\"https:\/\/rem.info\/en\/travelling\/stations\/griffintown-bernard-landry\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"1a62b140-de76-48ed-91b4-d31ed35fe6cb\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" title=\"Griffintown\u2013Bernard-Landry Station\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Griffintown\u2013Bernard-Landry<\/a> station, as well as a new station planned in the Bridge and Wellington streets area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Carte_Mise_en_service_2026_2stations_EN_zoo.jpg\" width=\"948\" height=\"641\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"85746094-cded-4bf1-bb83-0126099b4203\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>*Station name to be determined with our partners<\/p>\n<p>Two additional stations in the heart of Montreal\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Located in Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Sud-Ouest borough, these two stations will help improve access to public transit in rapidly evolving neighbourhoods. Already included in the REM\u2019s original alignment, the Griffintown\u2013Bernard-Landry station will serve the north side of the Lachine Canal. Meanwhile, the station planned in the Bridge\u2013Bonaventure area will support the development of the Wellington Basin sector and the south side of the Lachine Canal, an area with strong potential for urban and economic redevelopment.
