The platform is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DZu0KUKEbS_\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">streaming the Austrian Grand Prix<\/a>, with all sessions available to watch. This includes practice rounds, qualifiers and the race itself. Even better? It&#8217;s free and I don&#8217;t mean &#8220;free for subscribers.&#8221; Anyone can pop open the app and watch, subscription or not.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Events start on June 26 at 7:30AM ET with the first practice round. There&#8217;s another practice round later that day at 11AM ET. It recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entertainment\/streaming\/apple-is-the-new-home-for-f1-racing-in-the-us-starting-in-2026-133619412.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">secured broadcast rights<\/a> in the US and the company says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entertainment\/streaming\/apple-says-f1-streaming-already-exceeds-everyones-expectations-111028328.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">viewership is up<\/a> when compared to last year. Despite signing a deal for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entertainment\/streaming\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-streaming-f1-on-apple-tv-190600771.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">exclusive streaming rights<\/a>, Apple has allowed Netflix <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2176061\/psa-the-first-f1-race-on-netflix-is-this-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">to air certain races<\/a>. Others will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entertainment\/apple-inks-deal-for-imax-screenings-of-live-formula-1-races-234003582.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">available to watch on IMAX screens.<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The company is also dipping its toes into other sports.
