A new facility in Kingston\u2019s east end will aim to provide the Neurocentre of Eastern Ontario (NEO Clinic) with more space to meet growing demand for neurological services throughout Kingston and the surrounding region.<\/p>\n
According to a release from the NEO Clinic, the new 4,000-square-foot facility at 673 Innovation Drive, Unit 6, had an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Jun. 17, 2026. Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson and Ted Hsu, Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Kingston and the Islands, joined NEO Clinic staff, health-care partners, patients, and community members to celebrate the milestone.<\/p>\n

The organization said that this new facility represents a \u201csignificant expansion\u201d from NEO Clinic\u2019s original 300- to 400-square-foot space (approximately 27 to 37 square metres), and features ten examination rooms and an expanded clinical team.<\/p>\n
\u201cAccess to timely neurological care remains a significant challenge for many patients,\u201d said Dr. Ramana Appireddy, Neurologist and Medical Director at NEO Clinic.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis expansion allows us to improve access to specialized care for people living with headaches, migraines, and other neurological conditions, while providing a modern environment that supports better patient experiences and outcomes. As demand for neurological services continues to grow, our goal is to ensure patients can access the care they need closer to home and as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
As part of the expansion, NEO Clinic is expanding its Comprehensive Headache Program to provide faster access to specialized assessment and treatment, and also introducing Neuro Physiotherapy services focused on neurological rehabilitation for Parkinson\u2019s disease, stroke, mobility, and balance disorders, according to the release.<\/p>\n

\u201cKHSC functions as a hospital without walls, and we\u2019re delighted to work with community specialists to extend capacity and provide better access to care for patients\u201d.<\/p>\n
In addition to clinical care, NEO Clinic is expanding its involvement in clinical research through a partnership with the Limestone Clinical Trials Unit, giving patients the opportunity to participate in trials evaluating new therapies for neurological conditions, the organization outlined.<\/p>\n
