Errol Spence Jr is looking to blow off the cobwebs against Tim Tszyu after three years on the sidelines. <\/p>\n

The former unified welterweight champion hasn’t set foot in the ring since his devastating ninth-round stoppage loss to Terence Crawford in July 2023.<\/a><\/p>\n

Failed negotiations with Sebastian Fundora <\/a>and Jermell Charlo<\/a> preceded an agreement to fight Tszyu at a catchweight of 158lbs. <\/p>\n

The jump up in weight comes after a particularly torrid time boiling himself down to 147lbs for his last few fights.<\/p>\n

Spence Jr has reiterated that his comeback is on a ‘fight-by-fight basis’ and that his performance against Tszyu will determine whether he fights again.<\/p>\n

That will be music to Tszyu’s ears, who has vowed to retire Spence Jr.<\/p>\n

Spence Jr and Tszyu will lock horns on Saturday, July 11.<\/p>\n

The 12-round clash will be held at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.<\/p>\n
