Both were licensed and experienced pilots. The instructor also was killed, the mayor said. An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/ubisoft-tencent-guillemot-possible-buyout-64bb35d2a382cdad97ce34f5d70c4d71\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Ubisoft;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;Ubisoft&quot;}\" class=\"link \">Ubisoft<\/a> confirmed Guillemot&#8217;s death but did not comment further.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The plane crashed in a field just before landing at La Baule-Escoublac Airport, an airport official told The Associated Press. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to be publicly named.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Guillemot and four brothers founded Ubisoft in 1986.
